Muhammad Al-Durrah was only 12 years old when both he and his father, Jamal Al-Durrah, were caught in gunfire from the Israeli forces. For 45 mins, his father tried to shield him from the bullets and cried out for the shooting to stop. They weren’t armed. They weren’t causing any disturbance or even attacking the Israelis. The Israelis, who WERE the aggressors didn’t listen. They didn’t heed the pleas from the father. They didn’t care about the frightened and innocent boy.
Instead, they shot him dead. Four Israeli bullets, sponsored and supplied by the likes of the US and the UK, killed Muhammad Al-Durrah.
It’s things like this that make me want to fight more and more for my land. I wouldn’t give an inch up and I certainly wont stop fighting back for it. Allah is with us.
I remember witnessing this incident on the TV was such a major wake-up call for me on what was really happening in Palestine. I think I was 9 years old.
This sends chills down my spine every single time. The fourth picture just kills me. Ya Allah.
I remember crying over this after having my mom explain it all to me when I was young. </3
This is practically part of my childhood. I remember seeing this video many times on tv.
I used to run to my room and shut the door because I was too embarrassed to cry in front of my parents.
